At Cuckmere Haven the Germans have landed and taken out the pillbox on the western cliff but failed to take the AA gun positions on the eastern cliffs. Here is the second stage of the battle from 06:47 to 07:29.

Recently wargaming has been a problem because of the refurbishment of the kitchen “Chez Whiskers”. I continue to protest that I am unable to paint anything larger than 1″ high, but will get out my 5/0 or 10/0 brushes for fine detail “cutting in” or to fill tiny flaws with milliput, but my life seems to be have been reduced to large scale plaster filling and 6″ paint-rollering!

I feel your pain, but if you embrace the One True Scale then there are simple pleasures to be gained from painting the larger terrain pieces :O)
