British and French newspapers published the Allied Supreme War Council’s decision to send aid to Finland. In Finland the Soviet Army attacked the Summa gap for the 7th consecutive day.

The Manstein Plan for the German western offensive was tested in a war game at Koblenz.

MV Munster hit a mine and sank a few miles from Liverpool.

Two IRA members were hanged for the Coventry bomb of 25th August 1939.

China collected 4 Industrial resource points, allocated appropriately.

Ten Infantry battalions attacked the six Japanese infantry battalions in Peking.  Two Japanese defending battalions were lost for three Chinese attacking battalions.  Remaining: 4 Japanese vs 7 Chinese.
