Eighty years on. 24th March 1940


Following the Finnish capitulation, the Allies lost their focus on Scandinavia.  The British concentrated on air defence.  Paul Reynaud’s new French government considered anything that would not involve fighting on French soil.

A torpedo accidentally exploded and destroyed the French destroyer La Railleuse as she left Casablanca.

Game day 206. Norway

Norway deployed six more infantry battalions in the south of the country.
