A question to my readers

“There is no such thing as a free lunch.”

I have the possibility to subsidise this blog by accepting advertisements. I will have no control over what is advertised and, from what I have seen elsewhere, the adverts are inserted where and when WordPress chooses. This site currently costs me $99 per year to maintain, but the cost may increase as I add more data storage in the form of pictures, which is certainly going to happen. At present I am content to pay the subscription.

My question is: “Would you, my readers, be prepared to see adverts inserted into my blog, or would you prefer the posts to be unsullied?”

I will make my decision based on the majority view of the replies to this post. If costs increase, I may reconsider.
