Pope Pius XII, in his Christmas address, spoke of the rights of all nations to life and independence.  He said that peace could only come through disarmament and appealed for a peace conference.

Game day 115. Neutral countries

With the fall of Finland, Italy recalled its convoy of supplies destined for Helsinki.  One Resource Point was spent for the return journey.

Likewise the Americans unloaded the fighter aircraft intended for shipment to Finland.

(History was beginning to unravel, but would, as far as possible, try to reassert itself)

For game purposes, Hungary and Rumania were divided from the former Hungary/Rumania area.  Likewise Yugoslavia, Albania and Greece were separated from the Balkans.

Merry Christmas everyone.
