Rumania signed a trade convention with Germany.

The British government claimed that since the start of the war, 870,000 tons of goods had been seized from ships bound for Germany.

Peking changed hands yet again as the Chinese re-occupied the city.  Further Chinese infantry forces continued to make their way towards Shanghai and Peking.
