Finland and the Soviet Union again negotiated new borders. The Finns refused to give up territory which would break their defensive line, and grant the USSR a new military base.

In Britain the black-out hours were reduced to half an hour after sunset to half an hour before sunrise.

The South African Prime Minister, Jan Smuts, promised that South Africa would defend British colonies if necessary.

Game day 64.  China

Two new infantry corps were deployed; one in China and one in Singkiang.  3rd Infantry Corps moved north-east to the border between China and Kwangtung, aiming to intercept the Japanese force heading for Peking, the location of which was now known to 3rd Corps.
