Worrying if my memory is lapsing, I was thinking back and remembered an old rhyme which restored my faith in my abilities:

JU88s attempted to bomb British warships in the Firth of Forth but were chased off by RAF spitfires. The destroyer HMS Mohawk was hit and 12 seamen were killed.
