The Hel Naval base, last surviving active Polish military formation, surrendered.  Polish cryptographers arrived in Paris with two Enigma machines.

Winston Churchill made a broadcast to the effect that Soviet Russia would halt Hitler’s planned eastward expansion.

Game day 31: USA deploys new forces

New units and structures ordered from September industrial points became available for deployment from the beginning of October.

From the October Industrial points the USA commissioned two armored corps in Eastern USA.  Work started on building cargo ships and recruiting more infantry in Eastern USA.  Building an industrial complex was started in Western USA.
