Germany announced a blockade of the United Kingdom.  British codes were cracked, so they knew where convoys would assemble.

India postponed plans for federation.

Game day 11: USSR begins to move.

USSR received 27 IPCs, but only one industrial centre existed, in Russia itself.  The 8 IPCs were allocated to a new Infantry corps and a new armoured corps, ready for October 1^st.  Meanwhile, in agreement with the secret pact made with Hitler and Stalin’s plans for Finland, the Russian forces in Karelia, Caucasus and Russia began to move westwards.
