Thanks for the detailed account. My friends were a bit nonplussed to see Austrian Uhlans and Grenadiers on site, but I guess it’s a re-enactors festival as much as a re-enactment. Sounds as though you had a satisfying time 🙂
I wondered why we had Swedes and Finns in our neighbouring brigade, and later found red-coated Norwegians on the French side, which apparently confused the Scots Greys!
